Gaining Loyalty through Employee Appreciation

Many people give their loyalty to their employer because their livelihood depends on it. What if you could get your employees to really follow you? Not from fear but because they trust you and have a true respect for you.

Really good leaders know that to get this level of commitment from employees it takes effort from the manager to demonstrate appreciation. People know when they are seen as a machine or a piece of furniture versus receiving a sincere thank you for a job well done.

Would these employees be willing to jump ship at the first opportunity? Probably not. Having loyalty from employees not only improves employee retention but it builds a formidable team. They have a willingness to go to whatever lengths the manager asks. What could you accomplish with such a team?
